Crystals and glass - in a suncatcher! This combination has been a favorite of mine all year - as an avowed rockhound and gem hunter, it makes sense.
Those are actual crystals in the center which I wrapped with copper foil and then soldered together into a beautiful giant crystal cluster, then built into a larger poinsettia-style flower. The flower measures approximately 15" long.
I make every stained glass piece in my shop. It's traditional, Tiffany-method stained glass. I'm an artist who'd been creating stained glass artwork for nearly 20 years, from the Pacific Northwest.
While my artwork can be used outside, it is NOT recommended, for the beauty and longevity of the artwork.
If you do hang your art outside, I recommend: - use it under cover from the elements - keep it out of the sun and rain/snow - bring it inside during extremely hot or cold temperatures
Each piece of art I create is unique and individual because of the special qualities of the glass used. They take time, experience, and patience to create, with stained glass artisans taking years to specialize and become experts in their craft. Artists in stained glass take great pride in their work, and the work you see here is no exception. I am so happy you're here - thank you for taking the time to view my work, and to read this far!
I have had so much fun making this pattern ! I 'm still working on it .I wanted it fuller so I cut more leaves. Very considerate seller ! I will order again.
