This adorable stained glass squirrel pattern hangs out in a corner - either standing up, attached to the corner of a window, or hanging from a chain. Full instructions are included for each, and four pages of the pattern are included, making this very customizable! You have two versions - a right-facing version and a left-facing version - and then a clean and numbered version for each. If you know someone who loves squirrels, this makes a great squirrel gift!
The eyes are created using copper foil sheeting, cut and then soldered to the face, to make this both adorable and easier to cut, given the smaller size of the face. I got you!
More details and the nitty gritty:
ITEM: This listing is for a *digital pattern to download* to make a stained glass suncatcher, and contains two versions of the pattern - one that will hang from the left and one that will hang from the right. Then there are clean and numbered versions for each. There are also full instructions for hanging from a chain, standing up, and hanging from a corner. This listing is only for the pattern - no other materials are included. And for more animal patterns, please check out the Animal stained glass patterns section of my shop:
LICENSING: This download includes both a hobby and commercial license. Patterns cannot be reproduced, published (other than printing for personal use), or shared. If you do sell your finished work, please give a credit to Noelle Barnes/GlassyRock Arts as the designer.
SIZING: Once completed, this piece measures 7.5” wide and 9” tall as printed on 8.5x11” paper.
MATERIALS NEEDED: Glass, copper foil sheet for the eyes, solder, the materials to solder them all together (flux, a soldering iron, etc.), hanging loops, and strong U-channel lead came if you want to hang the piece. Otherwise, chain for hanging. If you're going to make a standing piece, just a couple of extra pieces of glass and some solder will do - but for edging, do whatever you've already done on the bottom edge.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.
DELIVERY: After your purchase (thanks!), this site will present you with a link to download your PDF. You'll receive a confirmation email and an email with download instructions.
